Hey…Thank You!

I wanted to send you an email to let you know I really appreciate YOU. As a matter, of fact, I more than appreciate you – I truly care about you, and I want the best for you, too!

I think you are an amazing person – and I know this to be true, even if we’ve never talked or met before.

How do I know this…?

I know this because you are a divine child of the Universe, and because of that, you were born amazing and divine. Never forget this! No matter what others may try to tell you or say to make you feel bad sometimes!

My Dear Friend Brian

My dying friend once told me something important – just before he passed – and I will never forget his words…

He said, Always tell people how much you appreciate them, because most people never tell each other that.” He then went on to tell me “Most people forget to tell others the things they appreciate about them. But they ALWAYS remember to tell others the things about them that they don’t like!

His last words to me were “You will be where I am one day, and if you forget to tell others what you appreciate, when you get to your last moments alive, you will wish, just like I am wishing now, that you had just a little more time to tell the people you forgot to tell – how much you appreciated them being in your life. Never forget these words….

Then he took his last breath, and died holding my hand…

Today was my friend Brian’s birthday. So I wanted to share his wise words with you today, in honor of his memory.

I wanted to ask each of you to make time today, to tell one person (or more if you like) how much you really appreciate them. And if they ask you why you are telling them that, tell them “A friend of mine named Brian reminded me it’s important to do!”

I truly appreciate you, and thank you for being a part of my life!

In light and peace,

Tana Hoy

Thank you for sharing Brian’s beautiful story and those precious words during his last moments. In honor of his birthday, and all the gifts (relationship, loved ones, random acts of kindness) we sometimes take for granted, I’m going to tell as many people as I can how much they are appreciated. That includes you, Tana! ?
