2008 is going to be an interesting year, along with many positive changes occurring during the summer months.
Many Americans will come remember this year as the year of deception. Many things will come to light in the political arena where Americans will realize that the past 8 years have been years of deception and loss in progress.
Drugs being found in our water supply followed by comments such as "Americans were never told about this because they wouldn't know how to interpret the information" and this is only the tip of the iceberg of secrets that will eventually come to light.
Some of the secrets we are going to discover are:
- President Bush will retire as one of the richest US Presidents due to ties and connections to the oil industry.
- Political payoffs and major contributions have been made in underhanded and very questionable ways that will have negative affects on America for years to come.
- More sex scandals involving high profile Republicans will come to light making Senator Larry Craig and his men's restroom escapade look like Disney Land
- Drugs in our water supply has been information that has been known for years, yet we are just now learning about it
- Major lawsuits will be filed against corporate lending companies due to the fact that many people will come to realize that they had been sold bad loans, causing many of the problems that we are facing in the housing market in America right now.
Here are a few more of the things I see for 2008:
Housing Market
The housing market will continue to suffer until May 2008. From May 2008 until August of 2008, prices will continue dropping. These three months will be the perfect time to buy a new home, as prices will be at their best for buyers. After August 2008, the market will start to show a slow recovery and will start loosening up for sellers. By the end of 2008, sellers will have more success selling their homes and will receive a more reasonable return.
Job Market
The job market will continue to be stagnant until the middle of summer in 2008. After June of 08, the job market will start opening up again.
Gas Prices
Gas prices will continue to rise until the end of summer in 2008. Gas prices will reach higher numbers than currently predicted, going over $4.00 a gallon in some states. Once the election is over and the new president takes office, prices will start going back down to a more tolerable price |
