People all around the world have different views about reincarnation.

To me, reincarnation is a very interesting topic, and I believe it explains many things about ourselves and our current lives.

In this article, I will talk about what reincarnation is, why we are reborn, and then I will share some past life stories of some famous people throughout history.

What is Reincarnation?

We need to be reincarnated or reborn into another body until we have learned all the earthly lessons.

Reincarnation is the process where the soul, upon the death of the body, is eventually reborn to earth in another body.

The soul never truly dies, because death is only the passing away of the physical body. After death, the soul continues on to the spiritual realm where it lives for an undetermined period of time, and then, it is reborn into a new body.

Your soul reincarnates over and over again until it has learned all the lessons possible on earth. Until your soul has evolved into the highest spiritual state, it will continue being reborn on earth.

Past Life Stories Of Some Famous People Throughout History

Reincarnation is a concept that is fascinating for many people, and even some well-known people believe that they have been reincarnated.

So here are some of their stories:

Even some famous people throughout history believed in their past lives and reincarnation.

Napoleon as Charlemagne

Napoleon was a French military leader and emperor who was famous for conquering much of Europe in the early 19th century. He visualized himself as an heir of the Roman emperors, and even imitated the mannerisms of an emperor. He also had paintings commissioned showing him with a similar fashion as Emperor Titus.

He strongly believed that he was destined to rule over the Roman Empire, which lead him to adopt the Roman eagle as his symbol. Napoleon was so captivated with Charlemagne, who is the “Father of Europe”, that on his coronation, his crown was made to look similar to what Charlemagne had worn. And also, Charlemagne’s exact sword was used at the ceremony.

Napoleon may only have been posing as his beloved icon, but Napoleon also regarded himself as the reincarnation of Charlemagne. Because in 1809, Napoleon told the papal representatives that in a previous life he was Charlemagne.

George S. Patton as a Perpetual Soldier

General George Patton is America’s greatest combat general of the Second World War. He led the Third Army in a very successful sweep across France during World War II in 1944.

He was a firm believer in reincarnation. He also talked about having seen clear, lifelike visions of his ancestors. He believed he was the reincarnation of Carthaginian General Hannibal.

Patton was also a poet and the following are verses from his poem, “Through A Glass Darkly”:

So as through a glass and darkly, the age long strife I see,

Where I fought in many guises, many names, but always me.

His poem declares that he had been reborn many times always as a soldier, and it illustrates how he has fought as a Greek phalanx, a Roman legionnaire, a medieval warrior, and a sailor on a warship.

Another surprising fact about Patton was when he was taken to Langres, France on his first assignment during World War I, and he had never visited the place before, but he knew it quite well, and in the end, it was him who gave the French liaison officer a guided tour!

Sylvester Stallone as a Victim of the French Revolution

Sylvester Stallone is an American actor and filmmaker, famously known for his movies, such as Rocky, Rambo, and The Expendables. Jacqueline, his mother, is a psychic and an astrologer, and Stallone believes in past lives.

He believes that he had at least four past lives, and in an interview he mentioned one of his past lives, in which he experienced a horrific death where he lost his head during the French revolution. He said it happened during a party. When the interviewer said how awful it must be to be guillotined, he was surprised to hear Sylvester respond, “it doesn’t hurt and you don’t feel anything, except your head hit the basket, and that’s it!”

Stallone also believes he was also once a boxer killed by a knockout punch in the 1930s. This may have something to do with the success of his role as Rocky Balboa in Rocky.

He also wants to be reborn as the heavyweight champion of the world.

Phil Collins as a Defender of the Alamo

Phil Collins was the lead singer in the rock band Genesis. He is strangely consumed with the siege of the Alamo in far-off San Antonio, Texas.

He has the largest private collection of artifacts and documents related to this 1836 battle, where the Mexican army wiped out the American garrison.

During his childhood, he enjoyed playing with toy soldiers, and reenacting the battle of the Alamo. When he was done playing with them, he had an inexplicable urge to burn the plastic soldiers. Many years later, he found out that Mexican General Santa Anna had ordered the bodies of the defenders to be cremated.

Also, Collins has photographs of the Alamo that show glowing orbs. Orbs are considered by paranormal investigators to be manifestations of spirit energy.

He believes he lived during this time in one his past lives.

Shirley MacLaine As A Lemurian

Shirley MacLaine is an American film, television and theater actress, singer, dancer, activist, and author.

She firmly believes in reincarnation and past lives. Among her past lives, she believes she was a Moorish peasant girl who had a sexual relationship with Charlemagne. She also believes she lived in the lost continent of Lemuria, thousands of years ago.

MacLaine clearly remembers being androgynous during the Lemurian period. She also says that she participated in an experiment that sprang world myths of female separating from male, as in the story of Eve being made from Adam’s rib.

These are only a few among the many stories, of famous people linking their current life with their past lives.

Reincarnation is undeniable that many people from many societies worldwide, have clear memories of their past lives.

  1. Brandi Pitts says:

I did two different past life regressions. In the first one I was running on a white sandy beach in sandals and a toga. A man grabbed me from behind and held me and slit my throat. I was a wealthy Roman woman and he was a Lombardi invader, I even remembered that it was around 570 A.D. It was traumatic and I didn’t want to come back to earth. The next life I recalled I was a Catholic nun in Avignon, France. I thought it was the 1570’s but the only witch burning I found close to that time was 1582. According to the book I found there were 18 witches burned by Sebastian Michaelis that year, and I think I was one.The things I remembered were the ringing of the bells of a cathedral, being barefoot, and walking on the cobblestone street. Both of these past lives still fill me with fear and dread.
