Lucid Dreaming Techniques To Make Your Desires Come True!

Lucid Dreaming

Lucid Dreaming

Wouldn’t it be exciting if you could go to sleep at night and dream about whatever you wanted? Imagine being able to have that date with your secret fantasy crush, or feel what it’s like winning the lottery?

With lucid dreaming, you can dream about anything you desire, and you are only limited by your imagination!

What Is Lucid Dreaming?

Lucid dreaming is just like an ordinary dream, except in a lucid dream, you are aware that you’re dreaming, and therefore you can consciously control what happens in your dream. You become the writer, director, and actor in your dream and you experience your dream as if it is real and alive!

A lucid dream begins as an ordinary dream, and then somewhere along the way your mind wakes up, but your body stays asleep as your dream continues.

Dreams often feel real when you are having them, but they are usually “illogical”. In a regular dream you may see talking fish, people flying with wings, or monsters chasing you! When you dream about weird or bizarre things, these are sure signs that you are, in fact, only dreaming.

Once your subconscious realizes you are having a dream, one of two things can happen. You will either wake up, or you can take control of your dream and what happens.

How Lucid Dreaming Can Help You

When you have a lucid dream, you can continue dreaming – but this time, with the added bonus of being able to make decisions, control the people involved, and even change the scenario of your dream!

Here are several other ways that knowing how to have lucid dreams can help you:

Overcoming Nightmares

If you’ve ever had a nightmare, then you know how terrifying it can be. Sometimes, these bad dreams even reoccur, coming back to haunt you over and over again. But you no longer have to be a victim of fear when having a lucid dream.
Since during a lucid dream you know that you’re dreaming, you can take control, get the upper hand, and turn the horrid monster or event into a pleasant experience. Instead of trying to run away, you can simply face the nightmare and get rid of it once and for all.

Help In Physical And Emotional Healing

Because lucid dreaming presents very powerful mental images, it can be used to assist you in emotional and physical healing. If you are suffering from physical conditions, or going through anxiety or grief, you can incorporate soothing thoughts in their dreams, which will be more vivid than positive images conjured while awake.

Practice For A Real-Life Event

In a dream, your mind reacts to a situation in much the same way that it reacts in reality. For instance, your brain activity during a dreamed track & field competition is the same as the actual race. Therefore, you can help yourself prepare for an upcoming event, like a play, a singing performance, or a presentation, by lucid dreaming.

Once you learn how to have lucid dreams, you can even use it to draw inspiration for creative projects, and solving problems too.

Everyone dreams, and most people have even experienced a lucid dream at one time or another. But whether lucid dreaming comes naturally to you, or you don’t remember ever having one at all, you can learn how to develop this skill by practicing the technique below.

It only requires a desire to learn, motivation, and the willingness to learn to develop it.

How To Have Lucid Dreams

Here is one of the most powerful lucid dreaming techniques that you can use to develop your ability to have lucid dreams:

1. Think of what you want to dream about. This will program your mind before you sleep.

2. Wake yourself up a few hours before you’re scheduled to actually get up, because at this time, your body will still be too tired to resist sleep, but your mind will be awake enough to stay active while you dream.

3. Stay up for about 20 to 30 minutes, and replay your desired scenario over and over again in your mind. This will keep your mind focused.

4. Go back to sleep. This will let you slide more easily into the dreamscape that you have set for yourself.

5. Once you are dreaming, try to ask yourself, “Am I dreaming?” This will trigger your realization that you are dreaming.

6. When you know that you are dreaming, stay calm, so as not awaken yourself fully.

7. You can then manipulate the events, characters, and objects in your dream as you desire.

Learning how to have lucid dreams can be exciting, entertaining, and enjoyable, because lucid dreaming is like immersing yourself in an out-of-this-world experience, but in a dream that was designed and created by your own creation.

Tana, I love this! It’s like daydreaming but night dreaming! I do this. I’m not scared anymore of my dreams. The weird thing is that after reading a lot of your articles, I’m more in tune with my surroundings. But a couple of times, saw an object on my peripheral vision! One was running through my room! Another was flying! But I wasn’t scared.
