Cleansing Your Gemstone
When you first get your stone, it’s important to cleanse it. Gemstones are very porous, so they absorb the energies of anybody who handles them. So you need to neutralize your gemstone as soon as you get it.
The best way to do this is by using sea salt. Bury your stone in the sea salt, making sure the stone is completely covered. Keep it there for 48 hours, and after 48 hours take it out and brush it off.
Programming Your Gemstone
The next thing you need to do is to program your stone. You can do this by placing it between the palm of both hands. Now, talk to it either silently or out loud, telling it that you would like it to use its violet light rays to protect you from negative energy, and also to help protect your aura. Your gemstone is now programmed!
Repeat Every 30 Days
You need to repeat this process of cleansing and sea salt, and programming it with your attention, every 30 days.
