Astral Projection is when the astral body leaves the physical body to travel different dimensions.

Imagine all the things you could do, all the places you could go, and all the people you could see, if you could travel to another place in an instant.

For some people, astral projection has allowed them to travel without limitations – even to other dimensions!

With this astral projection guide I’m sharing with you, you’ll discover the wonders of being able to travel astrally and how you can practice doing it.

What is Astral Projection?

When I was a child, I started to travel astrally without really being aware I was doing it. I was so amazed at how I can simply go to different places at night, and nobody would be the wiser – since my body would be tucked away in my bed!

The first time I did it, I thought I was dreaming for a few minutes, but after awhile, I became fully aware that I was willfully traveling without my body. At such a young age, I knew my soul was able to travel to anywhere I wanted it to go.

For most people, experiencing astral projection for the first time would go like this:

You are just sitting or lying in bed awake, when suddenly, you can’t seem to move. You then find yourself floating or being in another part of the room, looking at your body.

As would be expected, this experience would take you by surprise and even leave you feeling a bit helpless. Believe me when I say you can master astral projection and that you can astrally travel, consciously and with control.

Astral projection goes by many names. Some would refer to it as astral travel or a conscious out-of-body experience.

We have two bodies – the physical body and the astral body. The physical body is the one we use in the physical world, while the astral body is the soul or consciousness.

The physical body and the astral body are connected, but the astral body is fully capable of traveling outside the shell of the physical body and is unhindered by its physical limitations.

You don’t get tired traveling astrally and travel time isn’t a factor. You can go to the other side of the world –or even another dimension in the universe – as soon as you’ve decided on doing it!

Astral Projection Since The Ancient Times

Tibetan monks use their astral body, or what they call Chi, to astrally travel during meditation.

There are thousands of documents and recordings of astral projection, or out-of-body experiences, from all corners of the world – some dating back to 5,000 years ago!

In Ancient Egypt, priests were already aware of the existence of the astral body. Drawings and inscriptions about the astral body, which they called Kha, were found on the rock walls of buildings and temples.

They also had their own guide to astral projection that included many initiations and rituals, which were created to train an individual to use their Kha to leave their body, and to use their Kha to fully or partially materialize before a group of priests.

Tibetan monks have long been using their astral body, or what they call Chi, to travel astrally during meditation.

During their meditative states, astrally travelling enables them to learn the secrets of the universe and to travel to celestial dimensions where they can have access to higher learning with spirit guides.

There are hundreds of writings about astral projection that can be found in Ancient Greece, as well as in Arabian texts. More or less, human experiences of astral travel have been the same since ancient times and show us that the ability to travel astrally is a sacred and universal experience.

How Does Astral Projection Happen?

There are two ways how astral projection occurs.

First, there’s natural astral projection, wherein you fall asleep and unconsciously travel to other places or dimensions.

Then there’s conscious astral projection, where you willfully leave your body through concentration or meditation and use your astral body to travel to other planes.

The first step in practicing astral travel is to find a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed.

How To Perform Astral Projection

Learning to travel astrally with control usually takes a lot of time and practice, since astral projection is one of the more advanced types of psychic ability, but it can be done.

Here are a few simple steps which could help you start practicing astral travel. I would suggest doing this at home so that you can be in a safe and familiar environment.

  1. Create the right atmosphere by choosing a room where you can meditate without being disturbed. You can have soft, meditative music playing in the background or just be in a room where you can meditate in silence.
  2. Set an alarm on your phone or your clock so that you will know when it is time to return back to your physical body.
  3. Lie down or sit down and relax your mind and body. Free your mind from all unnecessary thoughts.
  4. Enter a state of vibration by envisioning your astral body, which is a whitish outline of your physical body.
  5. Visualize your astral body is starting to loosen itself from your physical body. In your mind’s eye, see your astral body attached to your physical body by a thin, silvery cord.
  6. When you begin to feel a slight tingling sensation, see your astral body floating upward. Sometimes when this happens, it may feel as if you are falling through the bed.
  7. Intend to have clarity during your travels. Then focus on what you want to do and where you want to go. This is the first step to having a conscious astral travelling experience.
  8. Once you are out of your body, you can travel anywhere.
  9. Return to your body once you start to hear the alarm on your clock or phone.
  10. Write down your experiences in a journal so that you can keep track of your progress and of all the places you’ve been to during your astral journey.

The key to being able to do willful astral projection is practice. The more you do these exercises, the more you will strengthen your focus and entering a state of vibration will become easier for you.

Who Travels Astrally?

Those on a spiritual path think of astral projection as a way of life.

Throughout the centuries, shamans, monks, mages, mediums, and psychics have used astral projection to reach a higher spiritual level.

As a psychic, astral travel is a way of life and a part of my daily living. It is something deeply ingrained into my being and is an invaluable tool which enables me to help people who come to me for psychic readings.

For me, the most important thing a person can accomplish in astral travel is being able to gain access to wisdom and knowledge they need to accomplish their goals in life. Astral projection can also bring healing to your body, mind, and spirit, through energy gained from travel to celestial dimensions.

Like me, some are able to find their very own sacred place in the infinite vastness of the astral planes. In this sacred place, I meet with Ascended Masters – enlightened souls who are devoted to helping mankind and uplifting spirituality – as well as other beings I often communicate with during my psychic readings.

I believe the best way to use astral projection is to trust in yourself and the Universe, then just let your astral body guide you. Trust your astral body to take you where you need it to go, and let it show you the way. Take it slow and learn from the astral world.
